Sanatsujāta-Āhvāna (Summoning Sanatsujāta) — Vidura’s Invocation and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Doubt

अश्रान्त: स्यादनादाता सम्मतो निरुपद्रव: । शिष्टो न शिष्टवत्‌ स स्याद्‌ ब्राह्माणो ब्रह्मवित्‌ कवि:

aśrāntaḥ syād anādātā sammato nirupadravaḥ | śiṣṭo na śiṣṭavat sa syād brāhmaṇo brahmavit kaviḥ ||

যি কৰ্তব্য-পালনত কেতিয়াও ক্লান্ত নহয়, দান গ্ৰহণ নকৰে, সৎপুৰুষসকলৰ মাজত সন্মানিত আৰু উপদ্ৰৱ-ৰহিত থাকে, আৰু শিষ্ট হৈও নিজৰ শিষ্টতাৰ প্ৰদৰ্শন নকৰে—সেই-ই ব্ৰাহ্মণ, ব্ৰহ্মবেত্তা আৰু কবি (ঋষি-দ্ৰষ্টা) বুলি সনৎসুজাতে কয়।
