विदुर उवाच
Happiness is the final fruit of dharmic living: proper study, righteous warfare (when duty requires it), meritorious action, and well-practiced austerity together mature into lasting well-being.
In Udyoga Parva, Vidura is giving moral and political counsel during the tense pre-war negotiations. Here he emphasizes that true prosperity and happiness come from disciplined learning and ethically governed action, not from impulsive power or unjust gain.
