ततस्ते तापसा: सर्वे भार्गवस्थानुयायिन: । प्रेक्षका: समपद्यन्त परिवार्य रणाजिरम्,तदनन्तर परशुरामजीके साथ आये हुए वे सब तपस्वी उस संग्रामभूमिको सब ओरसे घेरकर दर्शक बन गये
tataste tāpasāḥ sarve bhārgavasthānuyāyinaḥ | prekṣakāḥ samapadyanta parivārya raṇājiram ||
তাৰ পিছত ভাৰ্গৱ পৰশুৰামৰ অনুগামী সেই সকলো তপস্বীয়ে ৰণভূমিখন চাৰিওফালে ঘেৰি প্ৰেক্ষক ৰূপে অৱস্থান ল’লে।
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights how allegiance and the seriousness of a dharma-laden conflict can draw even ascetics into the orbit of warfare—not as combatants, but as witnesses—suggesting that moral crises in society are observed and judged by the wider spiritual community.
As the confrontation involving Paraśurāma approaches, the ascetics who accompany him gather around the battlefield and stand as spectators, encircling the combat-ground to watch the impending fight.
