एवं कत्थसि कौन्तेय अकत्थन् पुरुषो भव | “अभी युद्धमें भीष्मजीके साथ मुठभेड़ किये बिना तुम क्यों अपनी झूठी प्रशंसा करते हो? कुन्तीनन्दन! जैसे कोई शक्तिहीन एवं मन्दबुद्धि पुरुष गन्धमादन पर्वतपर चढ़ना चाहता हो
evaṁ katthasi kaunteya akatthan puruṣo bhava |
সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে— হে কৌন্তেয়! তুমি এইদৰে কিয় ডম্ভ কৰিছা? আত্মপ্ৰশংসা ত্যাগ কৰি সত্য পুৰুষ হোৱা। যুদ্ধত ভীষ্মৰ সৈতে মুখামুখি নোহোৱাকৈয়ে কিয় এনেদৰে ক’ছা যেন বীৰত্ব প্ৰমাণ হৈ গৈছে? যেনেকৈ দুৰ্বল আৰু মন্দবুদ্ধি মানুহ গন্ধমাদন পৰ্বত উঠিবলৈ বিচাৰে, তেনেকৈ তুমিও মিথ্যা গৰ্ব কৰিছা। মিথ্যা শ্লাঘা নকৰিবা; পুৰুষ হোৱা।
