वायुदेव उवाच उपासितास्ते राधेय ब्राह्मणा वेदपारगा: । तत्त्वार्थ परिपृष्टाश्न नियतेनानसूयया
vāyudeva uvāca | upāsitās te rādheya brāhmaṇā vedapāragāḥ | tattvārtha-paripṛṣṭāś ca niyatena anasūyayā ||
বায়ুদেৱে ক’লে— “হে ৰাধেয়! তুমি বেদপাৰঙ্গত ব্ৰাহ্মণসকলক সেৱা-উপাসনা কৰিছা। নিয়ম-সংযমত স্থিত হৈ, দোষদৃষ্টি আৰু অসূয়া ত্যাগ কৰি, তত্ত্বাৰ্থ জানিবলৈ তুমি তেওঁলোকক প্ৰশ্ন কৰিছা।”
वायुदेव उवाच
True learning is grounded in character: one should approach the learned with reverence, practice self-restraint, and inquire into truth without envy or a fault-finding attitude. Knowledge sought in humility becomes ethically transformative.
Vāyudeva addresses Rādheya (Karṇa), acknowledging his past conduct: he honored Veda-knowing Brahmins and questioned them about tattva (truth) while maintaining disciplined behavior and anasūyā (non-malicious, non-censorious disposition).
