Udyoga Parva Adhyaya 133 — A Mother’s Counsel to Saṃjaya
मातड़ो मत्त इव च परीयात् सुमहामना: । ब्राह्मणेभ्यो नमेन्नित्यं धर्मायैव च संजय,संजय! महामनस्वी क्षत्रिय मदमत्त हाथीके समान सर्वत्र निर्भय विचरण करे और सदा ब्राह्मणोंको तथा धर्मको ही नमस्कार करे
mātaṅgo matta iva ca parīyāt sumahāmanāḥ | brāhmaṇebhyo namennityaṃ dharmāyaiva ca sañjaya sañjaya ||
পুত্ৰই ক’লে—“হে সঞ্জয়, সঞ্জয়! মহামনস্ক ক্ষত্ৰিয় মত্ত হাতীৰ দৰে সৰ্বত্ৰ নিৰ্ভয়ে বিচৰণ কৰক; কিন্তু তেওঁ সদায় ব্ৰাহ্মণসকলক আৰু কেৱল ধৰ্মকেই প্ৰণাম কৰক।”
