न च धर्मादपक्रामेदच्युत: पुरुषोत्तम: । 'परंतु ये पुरुषोत्तम श्रीकृष्ण किसी प्रकार भी निन्दित अथवा पापकर्म नहीं कर सकते और न कभी धर्मसे ही पीछे हट सकते हैं
na ca dharmād apakrāmed acyutaḥ puruṣottamaḥ |
বৈশম্পায়নে ক’লে— অচ্যুত পুৰুষোত্তম শ্ৰীকৃষ্ণ কেতিয়াও ধৰ্মৰ পৰা আঁতৰি নাযায়। তেওঁ নিন্দিত বা পাপকর্ম কৰিব নোৱাৰে; সদায় ধৰ্মত প্ৰতিষ্ঠিত।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse asserts Kṛṣṇa’s infallible commitment to dharma: he is portrayed as incapable of blameworthy or sinful conduct and therefore never departs from righteousness, even amid complex political and moral dilemmas.
In the Udyoga Parva’s war-preparation context, Vaiśampāyana characterizes Kṛṣṇa as unwaveringly dharmic, reinforcing his moral authority as a guide and mediator during the tense lead-up to the Kurukṣetra conflict.
