Truth (satya) is presented as the highest ethical commitment—greater than life, power, or pleasure—and as a force that leads to spiritual elevation (attaining heaven).
Nārada addresses a king, emphasizing unwavering adherence to truth. He declares that everything else may be sacrificed, but not truth, and he blesses/assures the king of heavenly attainment through that truth.
