सान्त्वनं रक्षणं दानमवस्था चाप्यभीक्षणश: । गोमिनां पार्थ कर्तव्य: संविभाग: प्रियाणि च,कुन्तीनन्दन! वैश्योंको सान्त्वना दे, उनकी रक्षा करे, उन्हें धनकी सहायता दे, उनकी स्थितिको सुदृढ़ रखनेका बारंबार प्रयत्न करे, उन्हें आवश्यक वस्तुएँ अर्पित करे और सदा उनके प्रिय कार्य करता रहे
sāntvanaṁ rakṣaṇaṁ dānam avasthā cāpy abhīkṣṇaśaḥ | gomināṁ pārtha kartavyaḥ saṁvibhāgaḥ priyāṇi ca ||
হে পাৰ্থ! গোধন-সম্পন্ন বৈশ্যসকলৰ প্ৰতি বাৰে বাৰে সান্ত্বনা দিয়া, তেওঁলোকক ৰক্ষা কৰা, ধনসাহায্য (দান) কৰা, তেওঁলোকৰ অৱস্থা স্থিৰ ৰাখিবলৈ নিৰন্তৰ চেষ্টা কৰা, প্ৰয়োজনীয় বস্তু তেওঁলোকৰ সৈতে ভাগ-বতৰা কৰা, আৰু সদায় তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰিয় কাৰ্য কৰা—এই সকলো কৰ্তব্য।
