आपद्धर्मे वैश्यवृत्तिः, विक्रय-निषेधाः, तथा ब्रह्म-क्षत्र-सम्बन्धः

यमाश्रित्य नरा राजन वर्तयेयुर्यथासुखम्‌ । अनाथास्तप्यमानाश्व दस्युभि: परिपीडिता:

yam āśritya narā rājan vartayeyur yathāsukham | anāthās tapyamānāś ca dasyubhiḥ paripīḍitāḥ ||

ভীষ্মে ক’লে—হে ৰাজন! যাৰ আশ্ৰয় লৈ মানুহে সুখেৰে থাকিব পাৰে, সেইজনেই আশ্ৰয়দাতা। অনাথ, দুখে তপা আৰু দস্যুদের দ্বাৰা পীড়িত লোকসকলে তেনে ৰক্ষকক নিজৰ আত্মীয়ৰ দৰে মানি আনন্দেৰে সন্মান কৰা উচিত; কিয়নো, হে কুৰুশ্ৰেষ্ঠ! যি নিৰ্ভয়ে বাৰে বাৰে আনৰ বিপদ দূৰ কৰিব পাৰে, সেইজনেই ৰাজোচিত সন্মানৰ যোগ্য।
