राजधर्मः—प्रजापालनं दानयज्ञश्च

Royal Duty—Protection of Subjects, Generosity, and Sacrificial Discipline

न होतामाशिषं पाण्डुर्न च कुन्ती त्वयाचत । तथैतत्‌ प्रज्ञया तात यथा55चरसि मेधया

na hotām āśiṣaṁ pāṇḍur na ca kuntī tvayācat | tathaitat prajñayā tāta yathā carasi medhayā ||

ভীষ্ম ক’লে—পাণ্ডুৱে কেতিয়াও তোমাৰ পৰা আশীৰ্বাদ বিচৰা নাছিল, কুন্তীয়েও তোমাক একো যাচনা কৰা নাছিল। তথাপি, প্ৰিয় তাত, এই বিষয়ত তুমি যি প্ৰজ্ঞা আৰু মেধাৰে আচৰণ কৰিছা, সেয়া পৰম হিতৰ অনুৰূপ।
