सत्यार्जवं चातिथिपूजनं च धर्मस्तथार्थश्ष रति: स्वदारै: | निषेवितव्यानि सुखानि लोके हास्मिन्‌ परे चैव मतं ममैतत्‌

Transliteration

satyārjavaṃ cātithipūjanaṃ ca dharmas tathārthaś ca ratiḥ svadāraiḥ | niṣevitavyāni sukhāni loke hāsmin pare caiva mataṃ mamaitat ||

Translation

ভীষ্মে ক’লে—সত্য, সৰলতা, অতিথি-সৎকাৰ, ধৰ্ম আৰু অৰ্থৰ সাধনা, আৰু নিজৰ পত্নীৰ প্ৰতি নিষ্ঠাপূৰ্ণ অনুৰাগ—এইবোৰেই গৃহস্থৰ বাবে এই লোকৰ যোগ্য সুখ। এইবোৰ আচৰণ কৰিলে পৰলোকতো সুখ লাভ হয়; এইয়াই মোৰ মত।
