Kṛṣṇa’s Dhyāna and the Prompt to Question Bhīṣma (कृष्णध्यानं भीष्मप्रश्नप्रेरणा च)

त्रयोविंशतिरात्रं यो योधयामास भार्गवम्‌ | न च रामेण निस्तीर्णस्तमस्मि मनसा गत:,जो लगातार तेईस दिनोंतक भृगुनन्दन परशुरामजीके साथ युद्ध करते रहे, तो भी परशुरामजी जिन्हें परास्त न कर सके, उन्हीं भीष्मके पास मैं मनके द्वारा पहुँच गया था

trayoviṁśatirātraṁ yo yodhayāmāsa bhārgavam | na ca rāmeṇa nistīrṇas tam asmi manasā gataḥ ||

যিজনে ভাৰ্গৱ পৰশুৰামৰ সৈতে তেইশ ৰাতি ধৰি অবিৰত যুদ্ধ কৰিছিল, তথাপি ৰাম (পৰশুৰাম) যাঁক পৰাস্ত কৰিব নোৱাৰিলে—সেই ভীষ্মৰ ওচৰলৈ মই মনতে গ’লোঁ।
