कौस्तुभेनोरसिस्थेन मणिनाभिविराजितम् । उद्यतेवोदयं शैलं सूर्येणाभिविराजितम्
kaustubhenorasi sthena maṇinābhivirājitam | udyatevodayaṁ śailaṁ sūryeṇābhivirājitam ||
বৈশম্পায়নে ক’লে—বক্ষস্থলত স্থিত কৌস্তুভমণিৰ দীপ্তিত তেওঁ অতি শোভিত হৈছিল; যেন উদীয়মান সূৰ্যই উদয়াচল পৰ্বতক আলোকিত কৰে।
वैशम्पायन उवाच

Vaiśampāyana describes a majestic figure adorned with the Kaustubha jewel on the chest, comparing the resulting splendor to the sunrise lighting up the eastern mountain.
