Prāyaścitta and Contextual Non-Culpability (प्रायश्चित्त-निमित्त-अदोषवाद)
कुर्याच्छुभानि कर्माणि निवर्तेत् पापकर्मण: । दद्यान्नित्यं च वित्तानि तथा मुच्येत किल्बिषात्
kuryāc chubhāni karmāṇi nivarteta pāpakarmaṇaḥ | dadyān nityaṃ ca vittāni tathā mucyeta kilbiṣāt ||
মানুহে শুভ কৰ্মই কৰা উচিত, পাপকর্মৰ পৰা সম্পূৰ্ণৰূপে নিবৃত্ত থাকিব লাগে আৰু প্ৰতিদিন নিষ্কামভাৱে ধন দান কৰিব লাগে; এইদৰে চলিলে সি পাপকলুষৰ পৰা মুক্ত হয়।
व्यास उवाच
One should cultivate a threefold discipline: (1) actively do good (śubha-karma), (2) refrain entirely from wrongdoing (pāpa), and (3) practice regular charity (nitya-dāna). This integrated conduct is presented as a practical means for cleansing moral fault (kilbiṣa) and progressing in dharma.
