The verse highlights yogic mastery and divine self-control: the powerful being can deliberately assume a specific divine form (Aniruddha) and enter a regulated, yogic sleep (nidrāyoga), suggesting sovereignty over body and consciousness rather than ordinary, involuntary sleep.
Vaiśaṃpāyana describes a radiant figure—white and moon-pure—standing in the manifestation called Aniruddha, and then, again, entering a yogic sleep-like absorption, indicating a repeated withdrawal into controlled inner stillness.
