यस्य प्रसादाद् वक्ष्यामि नारायणकथामिमाम् | वैशम्पायनजीने कहा--अमिततेजस्वी भगवान् व्यासको नमस्कार है, जिनके कृपाप्रसादसे मैं भगवान् नारायणकी यह कथा कह रहा हूँ
