वयं हि ब्रह्म॒ण: पुत्रा मानसा: परिकीर्तिता: । गता निः:श्रेयसार्थ हि कदाचिद् दिशमुत्तराम्
vayaṁ hi brahmaṇaḥ putrā mānasāḥ parikīrtitāḥ | gatā niḥśreyasārthaṁ hi kadācid diśam uttarām ||
ভীষ্মে ক’লে—আমি সকলোৱে ব্ৰহ্মাৰ মানসপুত্ৰ বুলি প্ৰসিদ্ধ। এবাৰ পৰম শ্ৰেয়স আৰু নৈঃশ্ৰেয়স লাভৰ উদ্দেশ্যে আমি উত্তৰ দিশলৈ যাত্ৰা কৰিলোঁ।
भीष्म उवाच
