तस्य नारायणे भक्ति वहतोअमित्रकर्षिण: । एकशब्यासन देवो दत्तवान् देवराट् स््वयम्
tasya nārāyaṇe bhaktiṁ vahato 'mitrakarṣiṇaḥ | ekaśayyāsanaṁ devo dattavān devarāṭ svayam ||
নাৰায়ণত ভক্তি স্থিৰভাৱে বহন কৰা সেই শত্রুদমন ৰজাৰ ওপৰত প্ৰসন্ন হৈ দেৱৰাজ ইন্দ্ৰই স্বয়ং তেওঁক একে শয্যা আৰু একে আসন ভাগ-বতৰা কৰাৰ দুৰ্লভ সন্মান দিছিল।
भीष्म उवाच
Steadfast bhakti to Nārāyaṇa brings divine favor and honor; spiritual devotion is portrayed as a higher credential than mere worldly power, even in the eyes of Indra.
Bhīṣma describes a devotee-king (called ‘enemy-subduer’) whose devotion to Nārāyaṇa pleases Indra, leading Indra to grant him exceptional respect—sharing the same seat and couch—signifying intimate honor and recognition.
