कृते दैवे च पित्रये च ततस्ताभ्यां निरीक्षित: । पूजितश्वैव विधिना यथाप्रोक्तेन शास्त्रत:,भगवान् नर और नारायण जब देवता और पितरोंकी पूजा समाप्त कर चुके, तब उन्होंने नारदजीको देखा और शास्त्रमें बतायी हुई विधिसे उनका पूजन किया
kṛte daive ca pitrye ca tataḥ tābhyāṃ nirīkṣitaḥ | pūjitaś caiva vidhinā yathāproktena śāstrataḥ ||
ভীষ্ম ক’লে—“দেৱপূজা আৰু পিতৃকাৰ্য বিধিপূৰ্বক সম্পন্ন হোৱাৰ পাছত, তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক লক্ষ্য কৰিলে; আৰু শাস্ত্ৰোক্ত বিধি অনুসাৰে যথোচিতভাৱে পূজা-সৎকাৰ কৰিলে।”
