सहस््रशो5प्यनेकश: प्रवक्तुमुत्सहाम ते । अबुद्धिमोहनं पुन: प्रभुर्निनाय पावक:,वत्स! मैं तुम्हारे सामने हजारों तथा उससे भी अधिक बार यह बात जोर देकर कह सकता हूँ कि सर्वशक्तिमान्‌ तथा सबको पवित्र करनेवाले धर्मने, जिसकी बुद्धिपर मोह नहीं छा गया है, उस धर्मात्मा पुरुषको सदा ही पुण्यलोकमें पहुँचाया है

Transliteration

sahasraśo 'py anekaśaḥ pravaktum utsahāma te | abuddhi-mohanaṃ punaḥ prabhur nināya pāvakaḥ ||

Translation

ব্যাসে ক’লে—বৎস! এই কথা মই হাজাৰবাৰ, পুনঃপুনঃ জোৰ দি ক’ব পাৰোঁ: সৰ্বশক্তিমান প্ৰভু অগ্নিৰ দৰে পবিত্ৰকাৰী; বুদ্ধিক আচ্ছন্ন কৰা মোহ তেওঁ দূৰ কৰে। সেয়ে যাৰ বুদ্ধি সেই বিভ্ৰমে পৰাভূত নহয়, সেই ধৰ্মাত্মা সদায় পুণ্যলোকলৈ নীত হয়।
