Mahābhārata 12.292

अनहश्नाहतां प्राप्ता: सन्त: स्तुत्वा तमेव ह । नतु वृद्धिमिहान्विच्छेत्‌ कर्म कृत्वा जुगुप्सितम्‌

anahaśnāhatāṁ prāptāḥ santaḥ stutvā tameva ha | na tu vṛddhim ihānvicchet karma kṛtvā jugupsitam ||

পাৰাশৰে ক’লে—যিসকল পূজাৰ যোগ্য নাছিল, তেওঁলোকেও সেই প্ৰভুক স্তৱ কৰি সন্মানীয় সাধু হৈ উঠিল, পূজ্যতা লাভ কৰিলে আৰু তেওঁকেই প্ৰাপ্ত হ’ল। সেয়ে এই জগতত নিন্দনীয় আৰু ঘৃণ্য কৰ্ম কৰি কোনেও উন্নতি বা অভ্যুদয়ৰ আশা নকৰিব।
