निरारम्भो5प्ययमिह यथालब्धोपजीवन: । पुण्य॑ पुण्येषु विमल॑ पापं पापेषु चाप्तुयात्‌

nirārambho 'py ayam iha yathālabdhopajīvanaḥ | puṇyaṃ puṇyeṣu vimalaṃ pāpaṃ pāpeṣu cāpnuyāt ||

যি মানুহে নতুন কোনো উদ্যোগ নলয় আৰু যি পায় তাতেই জীৱন নিৰ্বাহ কৰে—সেও যদি পুণ্যৱানসকলৰ মাজত বাস কৰে তেন্তে নিৰ্মল পুণ্য লাভ কৰে; আৰু পাপীৰ সঙ্গত থাকিলে পাপৰ অংশীদাৰ হয়। অৰ্থাৎ ফল কেৱল নিজৰ কৰ্মৰ পৰা নহয়, সঙ্গৰ নৈতিক পৰিবেশৰ পৰাও গঢ় লৈ উঠে।
