Yudhiṣṭhira’s Remorse and Vyāsa’s Teaching on Impermanence (Śoka-nivāraṇa)
मैवमित्यब्रवीद् व्यासो निगृहाय मुनिसत्तम: । वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं-जनमेजय! अपने बन्धु-जनोंके शोकसे विह्बल होकर युधिष्ठिरको ऐसी बातें करते देख मुनिवर व्यासजीने उन्हें रोककर कहा--“नहीं, ऐसा नहीं हो सकता”
māivam ity abravīd vyāso nigṛhāya munisattamaḥ |
বৈশম্পায়নে ক’লে— জনমেজয়! স্বজনসকলৰ শোকত বিহ্বল যুধিষ্ঠিৰক এনেদৰে কথা কোৱা দেখি, মুনিশ্ৰেষ্ঠ ব্যাসে তেওঁক সংযত কৰি ক’লে—“নাই; এনেকুৱা হ’ব নোৱাৰে।”
