अथान्तरिक्षे वागासीत्‌ तां च शुश्राव जाजलि: । धर्मेण न समस्त्वं वै तुलाधारस्य जाजले

Transliteration

athāntarikṣe vāg āsīt tāṃ ca śuśrāva jājaliḥ | dharmeṇa na samas tvaṃ vai tulādhārasya jājale ||

Translation

তেতিয়াই আকাশত এক বাণী উঠিল, আৰু জাজলিয়ে সেয়া শুনিলে—“হে জাজলে! ধৰ্মত তুমি তুলাধাৰৰ সমান নহয়। কাশীত মহাজ্ঞানী বৈশ্য তুলাধাৰ বাস কৰে; হে ব্ৰাহ্মণশ্ৰেষ্ঠ! তুমি যেনেকৈ কৈছা, তেনেকৈ তুলাধাৰেও ক’ব নোৱাৰে।”
