This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it signals the completion of a chapter within the Mokṣadharma teachings, framing the surrounding material as instruction oriented toward liberation (mokṣa) and the disciplines that support it.
The text formally closes a chapter situated in the Śuka-anupraśna (Śuka’s inquiry) context within the Mokṣadharma section of the Śānti Parva, indicating a transition point before the next chapter begins.
