ब्राह्मणस्य पूर्वतरा वृत्तिः — The Earlier Ideal Conduct of a Brahmana
River-of-Saṃsāra Metaphor
सर्वे धर्मपराश्चासन् सर्वे सततसत्रिण: । अन्तरिक्षचरा: सर्वे सर्वेडभिमुखयोधिन:
sarve dharmaparāś cāsan sarve satatasatriṇaḥ | antarīkṣacarāḥ sarve sarve 'bhimukhayodhinaḥ ||
ভীষ্মে ক’লে— “তেওঁলোক সকলোৱে ধৰ্মপৰায়ণ আছিল; সকলোৱে সদায় সত্রযজ্ঞত ৰত আছিল। সকলোৱে অন্তৰীক্ষত বিচৰণ কৰিছিল আৰু সকলোৱে অভিমুখ যোদ্ধা আছিল—ছল নকৰাকৈ সম্মুখ সমৰত যুদ্ধ কৰা।”
