यूपस्तवासीत् सुमहान् यजत: सर्वकाऊ्चन:
śakra uvāca | yūpas tavāsīt sumahān yajataḥ sarva-kāñcanaḥ | yajña-kāle samaye tubhyaṁ yajña-maṇḍapasya atyanta-viśālaḥ madhyavartī stambhaḥ pūrṇaḥ kāñcanamayaḥ āsīt | yadā tvaṁ nirantaraṁ daśa-daśa-koṭīr gāvaḥ sahasraśo dānaṁ karosi sma, daityāyāja, tadā tava manasi kīdṛśā vicārāḥ samutpannāḥ syuḥ ||
শক্ৰ ক’লে— যজ্ঞ কৰোঁতে তোমাৰ যূপ অতি মহান আছিল আৰু যজমান তোমাৰ বাবে সি সম্পূৰ্ণ স্বৰ্ণময় আছিল; তোমাৰ বিশাল যজ্ঞমণ্ডপৰ মধ্যস্তম্ভ যজ্ঞকালত সম্পূৰ্ণ সোনাৰেই গঢ়া আছিল। আৰু যেতিয়া তুমি নিৰন্তৰ, বাৰে বাৰে, দহ-দহ কোটি গাই সহস্ৰবাৰ দান কৰিছিলা—হে দৈত্যযাজ! তেতিয়া তোমাৰ মনত কেনে ভাব উদয় হৈছিল?
