भूयश्चैवापरं प्राह वचन मधुरं तदा । जापकैस्तुल्यफलता योगानां नात्र संशय:
bhūyaś caivāparaṃ prāha vacanaṃ madhuraṃ tadā | jāpakaistulyaphalatā yogānāṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ ||
পুনৰায় তেওঁ মধুৰ বাক্যৰে ক’লে—“ইয়াত কোনো সন্দেহ নাই; যোগীসকলে যি ফল লাভ কৰে, জপকাৰীসকলেও সেই একে ফলেই লাভ কৰে।”
भीष्य उवाच
The verse teaches that the spiritual fruit attained through yogic discipline is also attainable through japa; sincere, steady repetition and remembrance can be as efficacious as formal yoga in producing spiritual attainment.
In Bhīṣma’s discourse, a speaker continues with a gentle, persuasive statement, emphasizing—without reservation—that japa-practitioners can reach the same results as yogins.
