Manu’s Instruction
सत्य॑ वेदेषु जागार्ति फलं सत्ये परं स्मृतम् । सत्याद् धर्मो दमश्चैव सर्व सत्ये प्रतेष्ठितम्
satyaṁ vedeṣu jāgarti phalaṁ satye paraṁ smṛtam | satyād dharmo damaś caiva sarvaṁ satye pratiṣṭhitam ||
বেদসমূহত সত্যই সদা জাগ্ৰত—সেইখিনিতে তাৰ মহিমা প্ৰতিপাদিত। পৰম ফল সত্যৰেই বুলি স্মৃত। সত্যৰ পৰা ধৰ্ম আৰু ইন্দ্ৰিয়-দম (সংযম) সিদ্ধ হয়; আৰু সকলো বস্তু সত্যতেই প্ৰতিষ্ঠিত।
