Transliteration

bhṛgur uvāca—prajāvisargaṁ vividhaṁ mānaso manasāsṛjat | saṁrakṣaṇārthaṁ bhūtānāṁ sṛṣṭaṁ prathamataḥ jalam ||

Translation

ভৃগুৱে ক’লে—মনোজ প্ৰভুৱে কেৱল মনৰ শক্তিৰে নানাবিধ প্ৰজাসৃষ্টি কৰিলে। জীৱসমূহৰ সংৰক্ষণাৰ্থে তেওঁ সৰ্বপ্ৰথমে জল সৃষ্টি কৰিলে।
