Adhyāya 178 — The courses of prāṇa-vāyu and the regulation of the bodily fire

अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम्‌ । निर्वेदान्मड़किना गीतं तन्निबोध युधिष्ठिर

Transliteration

atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | nirvedān maḍakinā gītaṃ tan nibodha yudhiṣṭhira ||

Translation

ভীষ্মে ক’লে—এই বিষয়তো তেওঁলোকে এক প্ৰাচীন ইতিহাসৰ দৃষ্টান্তো দিয়ে। যুধিষ্ঠিৰ! নিৰ্বেদৰ পৰা মডকি মুনিয়ে যি বাণী গাইছিল, সেয়া শুনা; সেই পুৰণি কাহিনী মই তোমাক ক’ম।
