यदि गुह्ां न वो नित्य॑ तदा प्रब्रूत मा चिरम्‌ न गुहां श्रोतुमिच्छामि युष्मद्भ्यो द्विजसत्तमा:

yadi guhyaṁ na vo nityaṁ tadā prabrūta mā ciram | na guhyaṁ śrotum icchāmi yuṣmadbhyo dvijasattamāḥ ||

ভীষ্মে ক’লে— “যদি এই কথা তোমালোকৰ মাজত চিৰদিন গোপনীয় ৰহস্য হৈ থাকিবলগীয়া নহয়, তেন্তে বিলম্ব নকৰাকৈ কোৱা। হে দ্বিজশ্ৰেষ্ঠসকল! যি কথা গোপনীয় ৰহস্য হিচাপে ৰক্ষা কৰা উচিত, সেয়া মই তোমালোকৰ পৰা শুনিব নোখোজোঁ।”
