पश्येदुपायान् विविधै: क्रियापथै- न चानुपायेन मतिं निवेशयेत् । श्रियं विशिष्टां विपुलं यशो धनं न दोषदर्शी पुरुष: समश्चुते
paśyed upāyān vividhaiḥ kriyāpathair na cānupāyena matiṁ niveśayet | śriyaṁ viśiṣṭāṁ vipulaṁ yaśo dhanaṁ na doṣadarśī puruṣaḥ samaśnute ||
ভীষ্ম ক’লে—ৰজাই নানাবিধ কাৰ্যপথে সাফল্যৰ উপায় বিচাৰিব, কিন্তু অনুপযুক্ত উপায়ত মন নলগাব। যি মানুহে নিৰ্দোষৰ মাজতো দোষ দেখে, সি বিশেষ সমৃদ্ধি, বিপুল যশ আৰু ধন লাভ নকৰে।
