ददौ दुहितरं चास्मै रत्नानि विविधानि च । एष राज्ञां परो धर्मोडनित्यौ जयपराजयौ

তাৰপিছত তেওঁ তাক নিজৰ কন্যা বিবাহত দিলে আৰু উপহাৰস্বৰূপে নানা প্ৰকাৰৰ ৰত্নো প্ৰদান কৰিলে। এইয়েই ৰজাসকলৰ পৰম ধৰ্ম; জয় আৰু পৰাজয় অনিত্য।
भीष्म उवाच
