अभिद॒द्राव वेगेन सिंहो वनगजं यथा । जैसे सिंह जंगली हाथीपर झपटता है, उसी प्रकार भीमसेन गदा लेकर बड़े वेगसे आपके पुत्रकी ओर दौड़े ।।
sañjaya uvāca |
abhidadrāva vegena siṁho vanagajaṁ yathā |
upasṛtya tu rājānaṁ gadāmokṣa-viśāradaḥ |
rājan bhīmaseno gadāṁ bhrāmayitvā jigīṣayā |
duryodhanasya pārśve tu prāharad gadayā balī ||
সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে— যেনেকৈ সিংহে বনগজৰ ওপৰত ঝাঁপ মাৰে, তেনেকৈ গদা হাতে লৈ ভীমসেন মহাবেগে তোমাৰ পুত্ৰৰ ফালে ধাৱিত হ’ল। গদা-প্ৰহাৰত নিপুণ ভীমে ৰজা দুর্যোধনৰ ওচৰলৈ গৈ গদা ঘূৰাই, তাক নিধন কৰাৰ অভিপ্ৰায়ে তাৰ পাৰ্শ্বত (পাঁজৰৰ কাষত) প্ৰচণ্ড আঘাত কৰিলে।
