वृकगृध्रशृगालानां तुमुले मोदने5हनि । आसीद्ू बलक्षयो घोरस्तव पुत्रस्य पश्यत:,भेड़ियों, गीधों और सियारोंका आनन्द बढ़ानेवाले उस भयंकर दिनमें आपके पुत्रकी आँखोंके सामने कौरव-सेनाका घोर संहार हुआ
vṛka-gṛdhra-śṛgālānāṃ tumule modane 'hani | āsīd balakṣayo ghoras tava putrasya paśyataḥ ||
নেকুৰা, শকুন আৰু শিয়ালৰ কোলাহলময় আনন্দ বঢ়োৱা সেই ভয়ংকৰ দিনত, আপোনাৰ পুত্ৰে চাই থাকোঁতেই আপোনাৰ বাহিনীৰ ঘোৰ ক্ষয়-সংহাৰ ঘটিল।
संजय उवाच
