शल्यवधे कौरवसेनाभङ्गः, भीमस्य गदायुद्धं, दुर्योधनस्य समाह्वानम्

परित्रातुं महेष्वासान् मद्रराजपदानुगान् । अन्योन्यं परिरक्षामो यत्नेन महता नूप
paritrātuṁ maheṣvāsān madrarāja-padānugān | anyonyaṁ parirakṣāmo yatnena mahatā nṛpa ||
দুৰ্যোধনে ক’লে—“হে নৃপতি! মদ্ৰৰাজৰ আজ্ঞা অনুসৰণ কৰা মহাধনুৰ্ধৰসকলক ৰক্ষা কৰিবলৈ আমি মহৎ সতৰ্কতা আৰু প্ৰচেষ্টাৰে পৰস্পৰক ৰক্ষা কৰোঁ।”
