अश्वत्थाम-शापः, परिक्षिद्भविष्यत्, मणि-न्यासः
Aśvatthāman’s Curse, Parikṣit’s Future, and the Mani’s Restitution
कृपाच्छारद्वताच्छूर: सर्वास्त्राण्युपपत्स्यते । परीक्षित् तो दीर्घ आयु प्राप्त करके ब्रह्मचर्यपालन एवं वेदाध्ययनका व्रत धारण करेगा और वह शूरवीर बालक शरद्वानके पुत्र कृपाचार्यसे ही सम्पूर्ण अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंका ज्ञान प्राप्त करेगा || १३ $ ।।
vaishampāyana uvāca |
kr̥pāc chāradvatāc chūraḥ sarvāstrāṇy upapatsyate |
viditvā paramāstrāṇi kṣatradharmavrate sthitaḥ ||
সেই শূৰ বালকে শাৰদ্বত-পুত্ৰ কৃপাচাৰ্যৰ পৰা সকলো অস্ত্ৰ-শস্ত্ৰৰ বিদ্যা লাভ কৰিব। পৰমাস্ত্ৰসমূহ জানি সি ক্ষত্ৰধৰ্ম-ব্ৰতত দৃঢ় হৈ থাকিব।
