अप्रह्ृष्टेन मनसा राजसूये महाक्रतौ । प्रेक्ष्य तामद्भुतामृद्धि जगाम गजसाह्दयम्‌,राजन! इस प्रकार बार-बार धोखा खाकर राजा दुर्योधन राजसूय महायज्ञमें पाण्डवोंके पास आयी हुई अद्भुत समृद्धिपर दृष्टि डालकर पाण्डुनन्दन युधिष्ठिर-की आज्ञा ले अप्रसन्न मनसे हस्तिनापुरको चला गया

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: aprahṛṣṭena manasā rājasūye mahākratau | prekṣya tām adbhutām ṛddhiṁ jagāma gajasāhṛdayam, rājan |

Translation

ৰাজসূয় মহাক্ৰতুত সেই আশ্চৰ্য সমৃদ্ধি দেখি দুঃৰ্যোধনৰ মন আনন্দিত নহ’ল; ঈৰ্ষ্যা আৰু অপমানৰ ভাৰে হৃদয় গধুৰ কৰি সি গজসাহ্বয়—হস্তিনাপুৰলৈ—গ’ল।
