विवेश राजा द्युतिमान् बार्हद्रथपुरं नृप । अभिषिक्तो महाबाहुर्जारासंधिर्महात्मभि:,राजन! उन महात्माओंद्वारा अभिषिक्त हो महाबाहु जरासंधपुत्र तेजस्वी राजा सहदेव अपने पिताके नगरमें लौट गया
viveśa rājā dyutimān bārhadrathapuraṁ nṛpa | abhiṣikto mahābāhur jarāsandhir mahātmabhiḥ ||
হে ৰাজন! মহাত্মাসকলৰ দ্বাৰা অভিষিক্ত হৈ দ্যুতিমান, মহাবাহু জরাসন্ধি (জরাসন্ধৰ পুত্ৰ সহদেৱ) বাৰ্হদ্ৰথপুৰত প্ৰৱেশ কৰি পিতাৰ ৰাজধানীলৈ উভতি আহিল।
सहदेव उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic kingship: after victory, stability is secured not merely by force but by legitimate consecration (abhiṣeka) and the restoration of rightful governance in the proper seat of power.
Sahadeva, connected with Jarāsandha’s line (jarāsandhiḥ), enters the Bārhadratha capital and, having been formally installed by respected nobles, returns to his father’s city as the recognized ruler—signaling political consolidation after the campaign.
