अथर्वाड्विरसश्वैव बालखिल्या मरीचिपा: । मनो&न्‍्तरिक्षं विद्याश्व वायुस्तेजो जल॑ं मही,अथर्वांगिरस, सूर्यकिरणोंका पान करनेवाले बालखिल्य, मन, अन्तरिक्ष, विद्या, वायु, तेज, जल, पृथ्वी, शब्द, स्पर्श, रूप, रस, गन्ध, प्रकृति, विकृति तथा पृथ्वीकी रचनाके जो अन्य कारण हैं, इन सबके अभिमानी देवता,
