The verse highlights steadfastness in dharma under extreme pressure: even after being stunned or weakened, a warrior committed to righteous duty regains clarity and acts decisively, mindful that warfare carries the solemn authority of life-and-death consequences.
Sañjaya reports that Arjuna (Kirīṭī), having recovered his senses, takes up a fearsome arrow likened to Yama’s punitive staff—indicating he is ready to deliver a decisive, death-dealing strike in the ongoing battle.
