The verse highlights purposeful confrontation guided by wise leadership: Kṛṣṇa decisively positions Arjuna to meet Karṇa directly, reflecting the kṣatriya ethic of facing a worthy adversary and bearing responsibility for one’s chosen action in war.
Kṛṣṇa (Keśava), acting as Arjuna’s charioteer, quickly drives into the opposing host toward Karṇa, arranging a direct chariot-to-chariot duel between Arjuna (Savyasācin) and the great archer Karṇa.
