সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—“আজি সি ৰক্তত নিমজ্জিত হৈ, ভূমিত পতিত হৈ পৰি আছে।”

The verse highlights the dehumanizing finality of warfare: regardless of status, a warrior can end as a blood-soaked body on the ground. It implicitly warns against adharma-driven conflict and points to the ethical weight of choices that lead to such ends.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra the immediate aftermath of a violent encounter: someone has been struck down and now lies on the battlefield, immersed in blood, fallen upon the earth.
