अर्जुनस्य द्रोणिप्रतिघातः कर्णोपसर्पणं च

कृतो जिधघांसु: शैनेयं खड्गचर्मधृगभ्ययात् । इस प्रकार रणक्षेत्रमें युयुधानके द्वारा सारथि, अश्व एवं रथकी ध्वजासे रहित किया हुआ वृषसेन दो घड़ीतक अपने रथपर ही शिथिल-सा होकर बैठा रहा। फिर उठकर सात्यकिको मार डालनेकी इच्छासे ढाल और तलवार लेकर उनकी ओर बढ़ा

সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—শৈনেয়ক বধ কৰাৰ সংকল্প কৰি সি খড়্গ আৰু ঢাল ধৰি তেওঁৰ ফালে আগবাঢ়িল। ৰণক্ষেত্ৰত যুযুধানে বৃষসেনক সাৰথি, অশ্ব আৰু ৰথধ্বজৰ পৰা বঞ্চিত কৰিছিল; সেয়ে সি দুয়ো ঘটিকা কাল নিজৰ ৰথতে শিথিল আৰু স্তম্ভিত যেনে বহি ৰ’ল। তাৰ পাছত পুনৰ উঠি, সাত্যকিক বধ কৰিবৰ ইচ্ছাৰে ঢাল-খড়্গ লৈ আগুৱাই গ’ল।
