अर्जुनस्य द्रोणिप्रतिघातः कर्णोपसर्पणं च

पज्चालेषु च शूरेषु वध्यमानेषु सायकै: । हाहाकारो महानासीत् पञ्चालानां महाहवे,उस महासमरमें बाणोंद्वारा उन शूरवीर पांचालोंके मारे जानेपर पांचालोंकी सेनामें महान् हाहाकार मच गया
pāñcāleṣu ca śūreṣu vadhyamāneṣu sāyakaiḥ | hāhākāro mahān āsīt pāñcālānāṃ mahāhave ||
সেই মহাযুদ্ধত যেতিয়া শূৰ পাঞ্চালসকল বাণে বাণে বধ হ’বলৈ ধৰিলে, তেতিয়া পাঞ্চাল সেনাত মহা হাহাকাৰ উঠিল।
