Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
हंसस्य पतितं काको बलवानाशुविक्रम: । तब वहाँ आये हुए सारे कौए जोर-जोरसे हँसने लगे और आपसमें बोले--“भला यह हंस एक ही उड़ानसे सौ प्रकारकी उड़ानोंको कैसे जीत सकता है? यह कौआ बलवान् और शीघ्रतापूर्वक उड़नेवाला है; अतः सौमेंसे एक ही उड़ानद्वारा हंसकी उड़ानको पराजित कर देगा'
haṃsasya patitaṃ kāko balavān āśu-vikramaḥ |
“বলৱান আৰু ক্ষিপ্ৰবেগী কাকে হংসৰ ওপৰত ঝাঁপি পৰিল।” তেতিয়া তাত গোট খোৱা কাকবোৰে ডাঙৰকৈ হাঁহি পৰস্পৰে ক’লে—“এটা মাত্ৰ উৰণে এই হংসে কেনেকৈ শতধৰণ উৰণক জয় কৰিব? এই কাকটো বলৱান আৰু দ্ৰুতগামী; সেয়ে শত উৰণৰ মাজৰ এটা উৰণেই হংসৰ উৰণক পৰাস্ত কৰিব।”
