Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
अथ काका: प्रजहसुर्ये तत्रासन् समागता:,हंसस्य पतितं काको बलवानाशुविक्रम: । तब वहाँ आये हुए सारे कौए जोर-जोरसे हँसने लगे और आपसमें बोले--“भला यह हंस एक ही उड़ानसे सौ प्रकारकी उड़ानोंको कैसे जीत सकता है? यह कौआ बलवान् और शीघ्रतापूर्वक उड़नेवाला है; अतः सौमेंसे एक ही उड़ानद्वारा हंसकी उड़ानको पराजित कर देगा'
atha kākāḥ prajahasuḥ ye tatrāsan samāgatāḥ | haṃsasya patitaṃ kāko balavān āśu-vikramaḥ ||
তেতিয়া তাত সমাগত কাকবোৰে জোৰেৰে হাঁহি উঠিল আৰু পৰস্পৰে ক’লে—“চোৱা, হংসটো তললৈ নামি গ’ল! একেটা উৰণেৰে সি কেনেকৈ শত প্ৰকাৰ উৰণক জয় কৰিব? এই কাক বলৱান আৰু দ্ৰুতগামী; সেয়ে সেই শত উৰণৰ মাজৰ এটা উৰণেই হংসৰ উৰণক পৰাস্ত কৰিব।”
