एतदर्थ विदित्वापि सारथ्यमुपजग्मिवान् । स्वयंभूरिव रुद्रस्य कृष्ण: पार्थस्य भारत,क्योंकि श्रीकृष्ण भी भूत और भविष्यको यथार्थरूपसे जानते हैं। भारत! इस विषयको अच्छी तरह जानकर ही रुद्रके सारथि ब्रह्माजीके समान श्रीकृष्ण पार्थके सारथि बने हुए हैं
etad-arthaṃ viditvāpi sārathyam upajagmivān | svayambhūr iva rudrasya kṛṣṇaḥ pārthasya bhārata ||
শল্য ক’লে—ইয়াৰ উদ্দেশ্য আৰু পৰিণাম জানিও কৃষ্ণে সাৰথ্য গ্ৰহণ কৰিলে। হে ভাৰত! স্বয়ম্ভূ ব্ৰহ্মা যেনেকৈ ৰুদ্ৰৰ সাৰথি হৈছিল, তেনেকৈ কৃষ্ণ পাৰ্থৰ (অর্জুনৰ) সাৰথি হৈছে।
